I purchased a Livpure RO Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) on 18 June 2025. At the time of purchase, Livpure assured me that I would receive two maintenance services during the AMC period. A copy of the AMC details and supporting documents are attached for reference.

My Livpure water purifier is covered under warranty/AMC. However, despite repeated requests and follow-ups, Livpure has failed to provide the promised service. The water purifier has been malfunctioning, affecting the availability of safe drinking water in my household.

In May 2026, I attempted to raise a service request through the Livpure mobile application. However, due to a technical issue in the app, an old service request was continuously shown as "open," preventing me from creating a new request. Despite this issue, I received a call from a Livpure technician and scheduled a service visit for 23 May 2026.

On the scheduled date, the technician failed to visit my premises, and no prior notice of cancellation or postponement was provided. Thereafter, I contacted Livpure customer care multiple times and explained the situation. Each time, I was assured that the matter would be resolved shortly and that a technician would be assigned. However, despite these assurances, no technician was sent, and no service was provided.

As of the date of this complaint, Livpure has neither resolved the issue nor fulfilled its AMC obligations. My AMC is due to expire on 17 June 2026, and I have still not received the promised service despite raising the complaint well before the expiry date.

The conduct of Livpure amounts to a clear deficiency in service and unfair trade practice. The company has failed to honor the commitments made under the AMC agreement and has subjected me to unnecessary inconvenience, hardship, and mental distress. Access to clean drinking water is a basic necessity, and the prolonged delay in servicing the purifier has adversely affected my household.

I further submit that any expiry of warranty or AMC during the pendency of my service request should not prejudice my rights. Since the delay is solely attributable to Livpure's failure to provide timely service, I should not be held liable for any service charges, repair charges, or renewal costs arising from such delay.

I request the Hon'ble Consumer Commission to take appropriate action against Livpure and direct the company to fulfill its contractual obligations and compensate me for the hardship caused by its negligence.
