Subject: Complaint Against Lenskart for Deficiency in Service and Mental Harassment
Respected Sir/Madam,
I wish to file a formal complaint against Lenskart regarding their irresponsible service, repeated false delivery commitments, and negligence which caused me serious inconvenience and mental stress before an important examination.
I submitted my spectacles at the official Lenskart store in Kurukshetra on 28 April 2026 for upgrading the power lenses. At the time of submission, the store staff assured me that the spectacles would be delivered by 4 May 2026.
Since I had an important bank official examination scheduled on 9 May 2026, I intentionally kept a safety period of 5 days to avoid any issue before the exam. However, despite repeated assurances, the company continuously delayed the delivery date.
First, they delayed it to 5 May, then to 6 May, and later to 7 May. On 7 May, after I personally contacted the store, they again promised delivery by 8 May, but they failed once again. Thereafter, I contacted customer care and clearly informed them about the urgency of my examination on 9 May and the fact that I cannot function properly without spectacles due to my vision problem.
Despite explaining the seriousness of the matter multiple times, the customer care representatives ignored my urgency and casually promised delivery by 10 PM on 9 May 2026, whereas my examination was scheduled at 2 PM on the same day. This clearly shows negligence, lack of professionalism, false commitments, and complete disregard for customer concerns.
Because of their irresponsible behavior, I had to face extreme difficulty and mental stress while appearing for my examination without spectacles. Their actions caused unnecessary harassment and negatively affected my preparation and performance in an important career-related exam.
I therefore request the Hon’ble Authority to:
1. Take strict action against Lenskart for deficiency in service and unfair trade practices.
2. Direct the company to provide suitable compensation for the mental harassment, inconvenience, and suffering caused to me.
3. Ensure that such negligent conduct is not repeated with other consumers in the future.
I am attaching all relevant documents including order details, communication records, and delivery promises as proof of my complaint.
