I wish to file a complaint against Kaya Clinic regarding serious deficiencies in service, misleading representations made during treatment, improper maintenance of records, mental harassment, emotional distress, loss of confidence, and failure to resolve my grievance despite repeated follow-ups over several months.

I have been suffering from acne and pimple-related skin concerns for a considerable period of time, which were affecting my appearance and self-confidence. With the objective of improving my skin condition and addressing these concerns, I consulted Kaya Clinic, Ahmedabad (C.G. Road Branch), in June 2025 and sought professional treatment based on the advice of their doctors and staff.

Based on the consultation and assurances provided by the clinic's doctor, Dr. Kajal, and Ms. Sweta Jha, who was the Branch Manager at the relevant time (and has since left the organization), I purchased a package consisting of 10 sessions of Laser and Chemical Peeling treatment for ₹32,500 (payment proof attached). During the consultation, I was assured that the treatment would provide approximately 80% improvement in my condition. Trusting the expertise and representations of the clinic, I agreed to proceed with the treatment.

After completing approximately 4–5 sessions of the Laser and Chemical Peeling treatment, Dr. Kajal advised me to discontinue the existing treatment and undergo PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) treatment instead, stating that it would provide better and faster results. Subsequently, Ms. Sweta Jha informed me that my remaining Laser and Chemical Peeling sessions (approximately 5 sessions) would be converted into 3 PRP sessions through a credit adjustment process, as per Kaya Clinic's internal credit adjustment procedure.

Further, I was advised to purchase an additional package of 3 PRP sessions for ₹24,000 (payment proof attached). Based on the assurances given by both Dr. Kajal and Ms. Sweta Jha, I understood and agreed that I would receive a total of 6 PRP sessions (3 converted sessions from the remaining Laser and Chemical Peeling package and 3 newly purchased PRP sessions). I agreed to proceed with the treatment only because of these representations and the assurance that I could expect approximately 70% improvement after completion of the PRP treatment.

I completed 3 PRP sessions as advised by the clinic. However, when I later contacted the clinic to schedule my remaining PRP sessions, I was informed that only the 3 newly purchased PRP sessions were reflected in their system and that there was no record whatsoever of the 3 PRP sessions that were supposed to have been converted from my earlier package.

The clinic staff(Ms. Manisha, Ms. Komal) informed me that the conversion had allegedly not been properly recorded while generating the credit note and, therefore, there was no record available in their system. This clearly demonstrates negligence, poor record management, and internal administrative failure on the part of Kaya Clinic.

Thereafter, I made numerous attempts over a period of several months to resolve the issue directly with the Ahmedabad C.G. Road Branch. Despite repeated calls, messages, visits, and follow-ups, I did not receive any satisfactory resolution. On several occasions, my calls were not answered. At other times, I was given inconsistent and contradictory information by different staff members. I was repeatedly assured that the issue would be resolved shortly, but no concrete action was taken. On certain occasions, I was given information that later proved to be incorrect or misleading. The clinic's representatives frequently failed to provide clear answers and did not respond adequately to my concerns.

Due to the lack of response and resolution from the Ahmedabad C.G. Road Branch, I escalated the matter to Kaya Clinic's Head Office and spoke with Ms. Shreya. She assured me that the matter would be investigated and resolved. Following her intervention, I was specifically asked to allow 7 days for resolution, with a commitment that the issue would be addressed between 22nd May and 1st June. However, even after the expiry of the promised timeline, no satisfactory resolution was provided, nor was any clear explanation given regarding the missing treatment sessions.

Thereafter, I again contacted the Head Office on two separate occasions, approximately one to two weeks apart, seeking an update and requesting resolution of my grievance. During each interaction, I was assured that the matter was being looked into and would be resolved shortly. However, despite these repeated assurances and continued follow-ups, no concrete action was taken and the issue remains unresolved to date.

In addition, I sent a detailed email to [care@kayaclinic.com](mailto:care@kayaclinic.com) explaining the entire issue, including the missing PRP sessions, the discrepancy in records, and the difficulties I was facing in obtaining a resolution. Despite providing the clinic with a written account of my grievance and sufficient time to respond, I did not receive any meaningful reply or resolution. The failure of both the branch and the Head Office to adequately address my concerns demonstrates a lack of accountability, poor customer grievance handling, and complete disregard for the difficulties caused to a consumer who has repeatedly attempted to resolve the matter amicably.

In addition to the unresolved issue concerning my treatment package, I am also highly dissatisfied with the actual treatment results. Before purchasing the treatment packages, I was assured of approximately 70–80% improvement. However, despite undergoing the recommended procedures and completing 3 PRP sessions, I have observed only around 10% improvement. The actual outcome is substantially different from the results that were represented and promised to me at the time of sale of the treatment packages.

Since my primary reason for seeking treatment was to address my acne and pimple-related concerns and improve my confidence, the failure to achieve the promised results has been particularly distressing. Instead of experiencing the significant improvement that was assured to me before purchasing the treatment packages, I have observed only minimal improvement. This has adversely affected my confidence and caused considerable disappointment, frustration, and emotional distress. The unresolved dispute regarding my pending treatment sessions, coupled with the repeated need to chase the clinic for answers, has further aggravated my stress and anxiety.

Because of the actions and omissions of Kaya Clinic, I have suffered substantial financial loss, repeated inconvenience, wastage of time, mental harassment, emotional distress, and loss of confidence. I relied upon the professional advice and assurances provided by the clinic while making treatment decisions and payment commitments. Had the correct facts been disclosed and proper records been maintained, I may have made different decisions regarding my treatment.
