On 29 July 2026, two technicians from Kartick Refrigerator Works visited my home to repair my refrigerator. They informed me that the refrigerator relay was faulty. They charged me ₹1,100 for the relay and ₹500 as service charges, making a total of ₹1,600, which I paid through online payment.
However, within only 15 days, the refrigerator stopped working again. I contacted Kartick Refrigerator Works several times by phone, but they did not answer my calls, did not call me back, and did not send anyone to inspect or repair the refrigerator. I also contacted them through WhatsApp, but received no proper response.
Despite taking ₹1,600 from me for the repair, they have failed to provide proper after-sales service or resolve the problem. I also believe that I was charged an excessive amount for the relay compared to its actual market price.
I consider this to be a serious deficiency in service and unfair treatment of a consumer. I request that the service provider be directed to refund my full payment of ₹1,600 and take appropriate action regarding the deficient service and excessive charging.
I have supporting evidence including the online payment record, call records and WhatsApp messages, which can be provided if required.
