Subject: Formal Grievance – Yamaha MT-15 Purchase, Non-Disclosure of Manufacturing Date, Model Description Discrepancy, Non-Delivery of Helmet and Finance Amount/Charges
Dear Sir/Madam,
I purchased a Yamaha MT-15 from K S R Motors, Tenali, in April 2026, financed through L&T Finance.
I am raising a formal grievance regarding several discrepancies and lack of proper disclosure during the purchase and financing process.
1. Manufacturing date not disclosed:
My vehicle RC shows the manufacturing month/year as 09-2025, while the vehicle was registered on 20-04-2026. At the time of purchase, the sales representative did not inform me about the manufacturing date. When I questioned the representative, I was told in substance that I had not asked, so the information was not provided. I request an explanation as to why this important vehicle information was not proactively disclosed before delivery.
2. Model description discrepancy:
My vehicle invoice and RC identify the vehicle as Yamaha MT-15. However, my L&T Finance Statement of Account describes the financed asset as “MT 15 V2 Deluxe YAMAHA MT 15.” Please clarify in writing why “Deluxe” appears in the finance records and confirm the exact model/variant financed and delivered to me.
3. Helmet not received:
My vehicle invoice contains a note regarding collection of the helmet at the time of delivery. However, I did not receive the helmet. Please verify the delivery records and provide the helmet if it was included in my purchase/delivery package, or provide a written explanation.
4. Finance amount discrepancy:
My vehicle invoice shows a total invoice amount of ₹1,60,700, whereas the L&T Finance Statement of Account shows an amount financed of ₹1,79,018. I therefore request a complete item-wise explanation of the difference of ₹18,318, including all fees, insurance premiums, taxes, interest/broken-period interest, accessories or other amounts included in the finance.
The statement also shows processing fees, facilitation fees, documentation/repayment setup fees, insurance and EMI protection charges. I request copies/details of the consent, application, sanction document and agreement supporting each such charge.
5. Dealer disbursement:
The L&T Finance statement shows ₹1,68,231 as the net amount transferred in favour of K S R Motors. Please reconcile this amount with the invoice value of ₹1,60,700 and explain the additional amount.
I request a written response and complete reconciliation of the vehicle invoice and finance account, rather than a verbal explanation.
I am also requesting correction of any inaccurate vehicle/loan description and resolution of the pending helmet issue.
Please treat this as a formal grievance and provide a written response within a reasonable time.
