I, Thrishik Shetty, am filing this formal complaint against Jeeves Consumer Services Pvt. Ltd. regarding their failure to process my Warranty claim & deficiency in Service under the "Complete TV Protection (3 Years)" plan. The details of the complaint are as follows:

Policy Validity: 29/09/2022 – 28/09/2025

Nature of Complaint:
It has been over 6+ months since my Television was picked up, yet Jeeves Consumer Services Pvt. Ltd. has neither repaired nor returned my Television.
Despite multiple attempts via emails and customer support calls, no concrete response has been received from Jeeves. The standard response given by Jeeves is that they will provide updates, but no actual resolution or written communication has been provided.

Initially, my Television developed issues during the warranty period and was repaired once in July 2025. However, within a few days, the issue reoccurred with lines appearing on the screen. Despite reporting this issue multiple times, my complaints were ignored and not properly registered.
Later, I raised another complaint on 12/09/2025, and the Television was picked up on 20/09/2025. However, no job sheet or pickup confirmation was provided.
After continuous follow-ups, I was informed in November 2025 that my case would be processed for a refund due to excessive delay. However, in December 2025, I discovered that my complaint was closed without my consent, and without providing any repair, refund, or return of my Television.
Even after more than 6 months , Jeeves has clearly stated that:
  • Repair will not be done
  • Refund will not be provided
  • Television will not be returned
Till date, my Television is still in their possession, and I have received no proper explanation or resolution.

Facts of the Case (Events)

  1. 25 September 2022: I purchased the Television from Flipkart along with extended warranty from Jeeves.
  2. 19 April 2025: The Television developed technical issues during the warranty period. Initial complaints were not properly responded to.
  3. 19 May 2025: After repeated attempts, my service request was finally registered.
  4. 14 July 2025: A technician visited and repaired the Television. The TV was returned.
  5. Post-repair (July 2025): Within a few days, the Television again malfunctioned with vertical lines. My complaints were ignored and not registered.
  6. 12 September 2025:I raised another complaint via email during the valid warranty period.

  7. 20 September 2025: The Television was picked up by Jeeves for repair, but no job sheet or confirmation was provided.
  8. 21 October 2025 onwards: Despite multiple follow-ups via calls and emails, no proper updates or resolution timeline was provided.
  9. November 2025: I was informed over phone that my case would be processed for a refund due to delay.
  10. December 2025: I discovered that my complaint was closed without my consent, and without repair, refund, or return of the Television.
  11. After 3+ months: I was informed that:
  • Repair will not be done
  • Refund will not be provided
  • Television will not be returned
  1. Till Date:
  • My Television is still with Jeeves
  • No repair has been done
  • No refund has been issued
  • No proper explanation has been given
  • Complaints are being closed without consent

Breach of Contract & Deficiency of Service:
The failure to process the claim and return my Television constitutes gross negligence and deficiency in service.
The act of retaining my Television without repair, refund, or return is a serious violation of my consumer rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
This delay and negligence have caused me:
  • Financial loss
  • Mental stress and harassment
  • Loss of usage of my Television despite full payment
  • I have suffered mental trauma due to prolonged delay and repeated follow-ups with no outcome.

Relief Sought:
  • Return of my Television in proper working condition OR
  • Full refund of the product cost along with warranty amount
  • Compensation for mental agony, harassment, and inconvenience caused due to unnecessary delays.
  • Penalty on Jeeves Consumer Services Pvt. Ltd. & Flipkart for failing to meet their obligations under the warranty policy.

I have made multiple attempts to contact Jeeves and Flipkart through calls and emails, but no proper support or resolution has been provided. My complaints have been closed without my consent and without resolving the issue.

I request the Consumer Court to take strict action against Jeeves Consumer Services Pvt. Ltd. & Flipkart for their failure to provide timely service and seek appropriate redressal as per applicable laws and regulations.
