I wish to file a formal consumer complaint against Jeeves Consumer Services, the service provider for my air conditioner protection plan purchased through Flipkart.


At the time of installation, the Jeeves installation agent strongly persuaded me to purchase an extended service plan, assuring me that it would provide timely servicing and hassle-free support for my air conditioner. Trusting these assurances, I purchased the plan. However, when I actually needed the service, Jeeves has completely failed to honour its contractual obligations.


Despite raising multiple service requests over the past month, no technician has been assigned or visited my location to service my air conditioner. I have repeatedly contacted customer support, but my complaints have either been ignored or met with empty promises that someone would contact me “soon.” To date, no meaningful action has been taken.


This conduct amounts to a clear deficiency in service, unfair trade practice, and blatant harassment of a paying customer. It appears that Jeeves actively encourages customers to purchase service plans during installation but fails to provide the promised services once payment has been received. Such practices are deceptive and exploit consumers who rely on these commitments.


I have paid for a service plan that is valid and active, yet Jeeves has failed to provide the services promised under the agreement.

I request the Hon’ble Consumer Commission to direct Jeeves to:


  1. Immediately provide the service promised under the purchased protection plan.
  2. Compensate me for the unnecessary delay, mental harassment, inconvenience, and deficiency in service.
  3. Refund the cost of the service plan if Jeeves is unable or unwilling to fulfil its contractual obligations.
  4. Take appropriate action against Jeeves for engaging in unfair and misleading business practices so that other consumers are not subjected to similar treatment.

It has been over one month since I first raised my service request, and despite repeated follow-ups, Jeeves has failed to provide any resolution. A company cannot collect money from consumers by promising after-sales support and then simply ignore service requests.


I request that this complaint be taken up urgently and appropriate legal action be initiated against Jeeves for its failure to honour its contractual obligations and for causing undue harassment to a consumer.
