would like to lodge a consumer complaint against the online seller/website "GadgetLane" for unfair trade practices, misleading advertisement, and supplying a fake product.

I purchased "Ctrl8 Ultra Pro Earbuds with Active Noise Cancellation & HD Sound" from the GadgetLane website based on the features, specifications, and advertisements displayed on their website. However, upon receiving the product, I found that the earbuds are completely different from what was advertised. The product appears to be fake, duplicate, and of extremely poor quality. The advertised features such as Active Noise Cancellation and HD Sound are either not functioning or do not match the specifications claimed by the seller.

Further, the website displayed a return/refund policy at the time of purchase. However, after receiving the product and attempting to initiate a return, the return option is no longer available, making it impossible to request a refund through the website. This indicates deceptive business practices intended to mislead consumers.

I believe I have been subjected to:

  1. Misleading and false advertisement.
  2. Supply of counterfeit/fake product.
  3. Deficiency in service.
  4. Unfair trade practices.
  5. Denial of return/refund despite promises made during purchase.
I request the Hon'ble Consumer Forum to:

  1. Direct the seller to provide a full refund of the amount paid.
  2. Take appropriate action against the seller/website for misleading consumers.
  3. Award compensation for the inconvenience, mental harassment, and loss suffered.
  4. Ensure that similar fraudulent practices are prevented in the future.
I am attaching copies of the order details, payment receipt, product photographs, screenshots of advertisements, and any communication with the seller as supporting evidence.

I kindly request immediate intervention and appropriate action against the seller.
