Complaint Details:
I wish to file a complaint against Real India Automotive E-Bikes (OPC) Pvt. Ltd. and its representative Mr. Reyaz Ahmed Zargar for fraudulent practices, deficiency in service, and causing financial loss.

Our institution installed a solar power plant through the above-mentioned company at a total project cost of approximately ₹5.10 lakh. The company assured us that the system would significantly reduce our electricity expenses and that all commitments regarding installation and benefits would be fulfilled. Based on these assurances, we completed all necessary documentation and obtained a subsidized bank loan for the project. The company erected a solar panel structure on the fourth floor of our building but left the work incomplete midway. The structure appears weak and inadequately secured. Due to strong winds and heavy rainfall in the area, it poses a serious safety hazard to the surrounding neighborhood. There is a constant risk that the solar panels may detach or that the structure itself may collapse, causing injury to residents, children, or damage to nearby properties. The work was left incomplete because the company did not have sufficient material available for the installation. The representatives of the company informed us that the remaining material had been left behind and assured us that it would be delivered and installed within two to three days. Subsequently, one or two of their personnel visited the site for inspection and repeated the same assurance that the material would soon be brought and the work completed. However, despite these repeated promises, more than three months have passed and neither the required material has been supplied, nor has the remaining work been completed. The company has stopped responding effectively and has failed to honor its commitments, causing financial loss, inconvenience, and continued safety concerns. The negligence of the company in leaving an unsafe and incomplete structure has created a continuing threat to public safety and has caused us considerable anxiety and concern.
The opposite party should be directed to immediately remove, repair, or secure the incomplete solar structure to eliminate the risk to human life and property and ensure compliance with safety standards.
As a result:
1. We have suffered significant financial loss due to the company’s false assurances and failure to provide the promised benefits from the solar installation.
2. The bank is continuously deducting an EMI of ₹3,640 for the first month and later Rs. 8636 per month towards the loan taken for this project.
3. Despite the installation of the solar plant, we are still paying electricity bills. For example, our electricity bill for April amounted to ₹2,833, which clearly indicates that the promised savings have not been achieved.
4. The company has failed to provide satisfactory service, support, and resolution despite repeated requests.
5. We have suffered mental stress, inconvenience, and financial hardship due to the negligence and deficiency in service of the company.
I request the concerned Consumer Forum to investigate this matter, direct the company to resolve the issue immediately, compensate us for the financial losses suffered, and take appropriate legal action against the company for unfair trade practices and deficiency in service.
Loss Amount: ₹5,10,000 (plus continuing EMI payments, electricity charges, and other consequential losses).
Relief Sought:
1. Refund and compensation for the losses suffered due to the defective and deficient solar installation.
2. Reimbursement of all EMI deductions and electricity expenses incurred as a result of the company’s failure to fulfill its commitments.
3. Compensation of ₹2,00,000 (Rupees Two Lakh only) for mental harassment, inconvenience, stress, and deficiency in service caused by the opposite party.
4. Direction to the company to rectify all defects in the solar system or provide a full refund along with applicable interest.
5. Litigation costs and any other relief deemed fit by the Hon’ble Consumer Commission.
Claim Amount:
* Solar Project Cost: ₹5,10,000
* Mental Harassment Compensation: ₹2,00,000
* EMI Deducted: ₹3,640 per month (continuing)
* Electricity Bill Paid: ₹2,833 for April 2025 (and subsequent bills)
* Litigation and incidental expenses
Total Compensation to Claim: ₹7,12,833 (plus continuing EMI deductions, future electricity bills, interest, and litigation costs).
