I am filing this complaint against a recruitment company for unfair trade practices and deficiency in service.
The company contacted me with the promise of providing a job opportunity and informed me that the total process would require a payment of approximately ₹50,000. Based on their assurance, I agreed to proceed and made the payments they requested through multiple invoices.
After I completed the payments, the company demanded additional money, which was never clearly disclosed at the beginning. Since I am unable to afford any further payments, I requested that they cancel the process and refund the entire amount I had already paid. However, my refund request has not been resolved.
I believe I have been misled into making these payments through false assurances and incomplete disclosure of the actual charges. I respectfully request the Consumer Commission to direct the company to cancel the process, refund the full amount I have paid, and take appropriate action against the company for its unfair and misleading practices.
I have attached copies of the invoices and payment receipts in support of my complaint.
