Details of the Complaint​

I, Mayank Dhawan, hereby submit this complaint under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 against Flipkart Internet Pvt. Ltd. for deficiency in service and unfair trade practice.

1. I purchased a Flipkart SmartBuy mixer grinder (Order ID: OD330159251573287100) from Flipkart.com on 08-01-2024.
2. The product developed a motor issue within the warranty period, rendering it non-functional.
3. I approached the Flipkart SmartBuy service center, who inspected the product and issued a job sheet stating that the product is not repairable (Job Sheet No.: FLCF-24Y81H-8V5CVN-RRTQ7V-V6P74BM, Dated: 29-JUL-2025).
4. As per Flipkart’s policy, I uploaded this job sheet and initiated a refund request. The return was approved.
5. However, despite raising 20+ complaints through customer support, and even after refund approval, I have not received any refund to date.
6. It has been over 2 months, and there has been no resolution, causing me severe mental harassment, waste of time, and financial loss.

Relief Sought​

I respectfully request the Hon’ble Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum to:

1. Direct Flipkart to refund the full amount of ₹2,529.00 paid for the product.
2. Award compensation of ₹20,000.00 for mental harassment, inconvenience, and time wasted.
3. Impose costs of litigation and other incidental expenses.
4. Take any other relief that the Hon’ble Forum deems fit in the interest of justice.
