I purchased a Preethi Zodiac 750 W Juicer Mixer Grinder from Flipkart, and the product was delivered on 20 June. Immediately after using the product, I discovered that it was defective. The mixer produces an abnormally loud noise, which is significantly louder than my existing 10-year-old mixer grinder. Additionally, the grinding jars do not function properly. Even when grinding a small quantity of ingredients, the jar repeatedly stops or breaks the grinding process, making the product unfit for its intended purpose.
On 21 June, I raised my first return request through the Flipkart platform, clearly explaining the defects. A technician visited my residence, inspected the product, and confirmed the issues. However, despite the technician's confirmation, Flipkart rejected my return request without providing any proper reason, update, or inspection report.
Subsequently, I raised additional return requests on 23 June and 28 June. Each time, Flipkart informed me that a technician would visit for verification. However, the technician visits were repeatedly rescheduled and ultimately cancelled without contacting me or inspecting the product. Despite the inspection never taking place, Flipkart rejected my return requests, causing unnecessary inconvenience and hardship.
To resolve the issue, I contacted Flipkart Customer Support approximately 30 times. During every interaction, I explained the defect and requested either a replacement or a refund. Unfortunately, I received only repetitive responses asking me to wait for a technician visit, which either never happened or was cancelled without any valid reason. No effective resolution was provided.
Again, on 03 July, Flipkart registered another return request with the assurance that a technician would inspect the product. Even then, no technician visited for several days despite multiple follow-ups. Finally, on 09 July, a technician visited, verified the defects, recorded videos of the excessive noise and malfunctioning jars, and acknowledged the issues. Nevertheless, Flipkart once again rejected my return request without providing any valid justification.
I have been a loyal Flipkart customer for more than 10 years and have made numerous purchases through my account without any major issues. However, this experience has been extremely frustrating. Flipkart has repeatedly ignored genuine complaints, rejected valid return requests despite technical verification, and subjected me to unnecessary delays, repeated follow-ups, and mental harassment.
The mixer grinder is excessively noisy even when operated with an empty jar. When ingredients are added for normal grinding, the noise becomes extremely loud and abnormal, indicating a clear manufacturing defect. The grinding performance is also unsatisfactory, making the product unsuitable for regular household use.
By repeatedly rejecting my legitimate return requests despite technical verification and by failing to provide an effective resolution, Flipkart has demonstrated clear deficiency in service and engaged in unfair trade practices, causing financial loss, mental agony, and inconvenience.
I respectfully request the Hon'ble Consumer Commission to direct Flipkart to:

- Award appropriate compensation for the mental agony, inconvenience, and repeated harassment caused by the unjustified rejection of multiple return requests.
- Award the costs incurred in pursuing this complaint.
- Pass any other order(s) deemed fit and proper in the interest of justice.
