Respected Sir/Madam,
I wish to file a complaint against Flipkart regarding repeated cancellation of my prepaid iPhone orders after shipment, causing financial harassment, mental stress, blocking of a large amount on my credit card, and refusal to provide a proper resolution.
Details of Orders:
Apple iPhone 17 (Mist Blue, 256 GB)
Order ID: OD337519140277040100
Order Value: ₹73,489
Apple iPhone 17 (Lavender, 256 GB)
Order ID: OD337524596331998100
Order Value: ₹73,489
Issue Description:
I ordered the above iPhones from Flipkart using my credit card during an offer period. Both orders were fully prepaid and successfully confirmed by Flipkart.
The orders were not only confirmed but also processed, shipped, and moved through Flipkart logistics facilities. However, later the seller cancelled both orders stating: “Quantity limit restrictions set by seller.”
The second order was placed only because Flipkart customer support specifically advised me to reorder the product from another seller after the first cancellation. Despite following their instructions, the second order was also cancelled with the same reason.
This has caused the following issues:
Approximately ₹1,49,914 of my credit limit remained blocked during the refund period.
I suffered financial inconvenience and mental harassment because the amount was deducted twice for no fault of mine.
Flipkart is refusing to provide price protection or compensation despite the cancellations happening entirely from seller side after shipment.
Processing charges/financial deductions related to the credit card transaction were also applied.
The products are now available at higher prices, resulting in financial loss to me because I cannot purchase them again at the original offer price.
The cancellation occurred after shipment and logistics movement, which clearly indicates seller/platform mismanagement rather than a genuine stock issue.
Timeline Evidence:
Orders were confirmed
Seller processed orders
Orders were shipped through Ekart Logistics
Products reached Flipkart facilities
Orders were later cancelled by seller side
This amounts to:
Deficiency in service
Unfair trade practice
Customer harassment
Financial inconvenience caused by repeated seller-side cancellations
Relief Requested:
I request the Hon’ble Authority to direct Flipkart to:
Provide price protection or compensation equivalent to the increased product price.
Refund/reimburse all processing charges and financial deductions.
Provide compensation for mental harassment and inconvenience caused.
Take action against repeated seller-side cancellations after shipment.
Ensure such unfair practices are not repeated with customers.
I am attaching screenshots of order details, cancellation reasons, shipment tracking, and refund details as supporting evidence.
