I wish to raise a complaint against Eureka Forbes regarding failure to deliver service under an active Annual Maintenance Contract, repeated AMC renewal calls despite unresolved service, concerning technician sales practices, and failure of the company’s grievance redressal mechanism.
I have an active AMC for my Aquasure Aquaflo DX UV water purifier. The AMC is valid until 12 August 2026. A mandatory service was booked under Service Request No. WO-120726-79217395. The confirmed service slot was on 30 July 2026 between 09:00 AM and 11:00 AM.
However, no technician was assigned, no technician visited the service address, and no proper update or rescheduling communication was provided. The service request continued to show only “Booked” status even after the scheduled service window had passed.
While the existing AMC service remains pending, Eureka Forbes has been repeatedly calling and messaging me for AMC renewal. This is disappointing because the company is asking for renewal while failing to complete the service already covered under my current AMC.
There is also a recurring concern regarding technician conduct. Since I am often away due to work, my elderly parents are usually present during technician visits. On multiple occasions, technicians have pressured them to replace the existing purifier by stating that the product is obsolete or that parts may not be available. This creates confusion and pressure for elderly customers. At the same time, Eureka Forbes continues to ask me to renew the AMC for the same machine, which is contradictory.
I attempted to escalate this matter to Eureka Forbes Grievance Officer. I was directed to submit the issue through their grievance portal. However, the portal requires a case number that was not provided to me. The only reference I have is the service request number WO-120726-79217395.
Additionally, when I attempted to verify my registered mobile number on the grievance portal, I received the OTP correctly, but the portal failed to verify it and showed “Internal Server Error” even after entering the correct OTP. This prevented me from submitting the grievance through Eureka Forbes’ official grievance mechanism.
I request assistance from the National Consumer Helpline for the following resolution:
1. Eureka Forbes should complete the pending AMC service under Service Request No. WO-120726-79217395.
2. Eureka Forbes should explain why no technician was assigned or sent despite a confirmed appointment.
3. Eureka Forbes should clarify whether the Aquasure Aquaflo DX UV purifier is serviceable and whether parts are available.
4. Eureka Forbes should stop repeated AMC renewal calls until the current pending service issue is resolved.
5. Eureka Forbes should ensure technicians do not pressure elderly family members into buying a new machine during routine service visits.
6. Eureka Forbes should provide a valid complaint/case reference number and fix the grievance portal issue.
7. Appropriate corrective action should be taken for the inconvenience caused due to missed service, poor communication, and failure of the grievance mechanism.
I have screenshots of the service request status, the grievance portal OTP error, and the email from Eureka Forbes directing me to the grievance form. These can be provided as supporting documents.
