I am filing this complaint against DTDC courier services for fraudulent practices, deficiency in service, and causing damage to my consignment.
I therefore seek the following reliefs:
The parcel was shipped from Haldwani from this dtdc office: Google Search
Paid amount: 1,750/-
- I had specifically paid for air shipment to ensure timely delivery, but DTDC wrongfully dispatched my consignment via surface mode while still charging me for air shipment. This amounts to fraud and misrepresentation.
- During transit, DTDC staff mishandled the consignment, destroying the outer packaging. As a result, the order was delivered in a damaged and unacceptable condition.
- Due to DTDC’s negligence and fraudulent conduct, I suffered financial loss, delay in delivery, and mental harassment. Despite repeated complaints, DTDC has neither issued a refund for the excess charges nor compensated me for the damage caused.
I therefore seek the following reliefs:
- Refund of the full amount charged for air shipment.
- Compensation for the damage to my goods and packaging, covering the actual financial loss incurred.
- Additional compensation for the mental harassment, inconvenience, and delay caused.
- Strict action and penalty against DTDC to prevent such malpractice in the future.
