My parcel (awb 2827790107963) was booked through Delhivery from Shivpuri to Chennai on 18 June 2026. It reached Chennai only after about 10 days and thereafter remained at the destination delivery centre for nearly a week without being delivered. Neither did the delivery associate contact me nor was any genuine delivery attempt made.
I repeatedly contacted Delhivery's customer support through its helpline and chat support, but was attended only by an AI system. Despite multiple requests, I was neither connected to a human representative nor provided the delivery associate's mobile number. My friend also contacted the helpline from the registered mobile number, as instructed by the AI, but no callback was ever received.
Despite my repeated requests for delivery, Delhivery returned the parcel after 18 days without delivering it. The parcel contains my documents, office uniform and important books, and there is no one available at the origin address to receive the returned shipment.
Delhivery's negligent handling of the shipment and failure to provide effective customer support have caused me considerable inconvenience and mental agony, amounting to a clear deficiency in service under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
