Respected Sir/Madam,
I am filing this complaint against Blinkit regarding an unfair refund practice and deficiency in customer service.
On April 13, I placed an order through the Blinkit application. Due to issues with the order, Blinkit agreed to issue me a refund amounting to ₹440. However, instead of refunding the amount to my original payment source, they issued it in the form of a promotional coupon/voucher without my consent.
At the time of issuing the voucher, Blinkit did not clearly inform me that the voucher would expire on 14 May at 12:09 AM. Since I was in a hurry at that moment, I accepted the voucher assuming it would remain available for reasonable use. When I later contacted customer support after the expiry time by only a few hours/minutes, they refused to reactivate the voucher or issue the refund again.

- The coupon had expired.
- They would not issue a fresh coupon.
- They would not process the refund back to my original payment method.
- The refund was not issued to the original source of payment.
- The expiry condition was not properly disclosed at the time of issuance.
- The refund was converted into a restrictive promotional voucher without proper consent.
- Customer support denied a genuine request despite the very short delay.
I respectfully request the Hon’ble Commission to:
- Direct Blinkit to refund the amount of ₹440 to my original payment method or bank account.
- Take appropriate action against such unfair refund practices.
- Award compensation for harassment and inconvenience caused.
