I wish to file a formal complaint against Binks, an online clothing retailer, for engaging in unfair trade practices, misleading sales communication, and failing to provide basic customer support or cancellation options, thereby causing financial loss and mental distress.
Details of the Case:
1. On 19 November 2025, I added multiple “Flexu Fit” blouses to my cart. On the same day, I received an email from a Binks representative named Sameera, pressuring me to purchase by stating that the items were “selling out.” The email made no mention of the upcoming Black Friday sale, which started less than 24 hours later.
2. On 20 November 2025, based on the urgency created by their communication, I proceeded to purchase 19 blouses worth ₹30,550 (Order No. BIL56414).
3. On 21 November 2025, within less than 24 hours of my purchase, Binks launched its Black Friday sale with 60% discount on the same items. I immediately emailed their customer support requesting a price adjustment.
4. All my attempts to contact them have failed.

- Their customer care number disconnects immediately.
- An automated voice message repeatedly states “no customer service personnel available.”
- All my emails receive only automated replies with no human assistance or resolution.
Grounds for Complaint:
- Misleading and deceptive sales communication (pressuring purchase while withholding imminent major sale information).
- Unfair trade practice under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
- Denial of timely customer support and failure to address complaints.
- Denial of cancellation before shipment, despite no service being rendered yet.
- Financial loss due to artificial urgency created by the seller.
I request the Hon’ble Commission to kindly direct Binks to:
- Cancel Order BIL56414 immediately or process a full price adjustment/refund of the difference between the purchase amount and the Black Friday sale price.
- Compensate me for the mental harassment, inconvenience, and negligent customer service.
- Instruct the company to follow transparent and fair communication practices in the future.
