Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to lodge a formal complaint against Anonet Broadband under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, for deficiency in service, misrepresentation, and failure to resolve my grievance.
On 4 June, I purchased a one-year broadband connection from Anonet Broadband by paying ₹7,500. Before purchasing the connection, I was informed that I would receive a specific broadband plan with certain features and benefits. However, after the connection was installed, I discovered that the plan and services provided were not the same as those promised to me at the time of purchase.
I repeatedly contacted the company through email to resolve the issue. The timeline is as follows:
14 June: I sent my first complaint email. The company replied on 18 June, but no resolution was provided.
20 June: I sent a follow-up email after my issue remained unresolved. The company responded on 27 June, stating that they needed more time to investigate the matter.
12 July: I sent another reminder seeking an update. However, I have not received any response to this email, and my issue remains unresolved.
Despite multiple follow-ups, the company has failed to provide the promised service or offer any meaningful resolution. Instead, they have repeatedly delayed the matter without taking any corrective action. This amounts to a clear deficiency in service, unfair trade practice, and misleading representation.
Due to the company's negligence and failure to honor its commitments, I have suffered financial loss, unnecessary inconvenience, mental stress, and waste of time.
I respectfully request the Hon'ble Consumer Commission to:
Direct Anonet Broadband to either provide the broadband plan and services that were promised at the time of sale or refund the full amount of ₹7,500.
Award appropriate compensation for the mental harassment, inconvenience, and financial loss caused due to the company's actions.
Direct the company to bear the costs incurred in pursuing this complaint.
Take appropriate action against the company for its unfair trade practices and deficiency in service.
I am enclosing copies of the following documents in support of my complaint:
Proof of payment of ₹7,500.
Copies of my emails dated 14 June, 20 June, and 12 July.
Copies of the company's replies dated 18 June and 27 June.
Any other relevant documents and evidence.
I request your kind intervention and appropriate action to ensure justice in this matter.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Yours faithfully,
Kiran Kumar Yadav
