I am writing to lodge a formal complaint against Ajio (operated by Reliance Retail Ltd.) regarding a delivery shortfall that has caused me inconvenience and financial loss.
On 24/03/2026, I placed an order for 3 items via the Ajio app (Order ID: FN1310709790).
The package arrived on time 29/03/2026, but it contained only 1 item, despite the packaging clearly labeled "3 items." The Ajio app status showed all 3 items as "delivered." I immediately raised a complaint with photo proofs of the package and its label. Ajio's response dismissed my claim, stating their "packaging and checking system is very rigorous," and refused further action. I requested evidence from their packaging team to verify no error or mischief occurred, but they provided none and remained rigid. Subsequently, I initiated a return for the single delivered item, yet Ajio dispatched a different courier for pickup, which is inconsistent. They have offered only a partial refund of ₹500 for the one item, leaving me uncompensated for the 2 missing items worth 1049.
This has wasted my time, money, and trust in their service. I request the consumer forum's intervention to:
Direct Ajio to refund the full value of the 2 undelivered items plus compensation for inconvenience.
Investigate their delivery and grievance processes for systemic issues. Supporting documents (order confirmation, delivery photos, complaint screenshots, Ajio responses) are attached. I am available for any further details.Thank you for your assistance.
