Subject: Complaint against Airtel Broadband for non-installation of broadband connection despite payment and deficiency in service.

Respected Sir/Madam,


I, Dnyaneshwari Hiraman Pise, hereby submit this complaint against Airtel Broadband for deficiency in service and unfair trade practice.
On 1 July 2026, I applied for an Airtel Broadband connection and paid ₹1,500 as the installation/booking amount. The Airtel representative assured me that the broadband connection would be installed within 2 hours. That person who had falsely assured about within 2hours installation - Harshad(9270803071).

However, even after 6 days, the broadband connection has not been installed. I have contacted Airtel Customer Care several times and registered complaints, but no action has been taken. Instead of resolving the issue, the customer care executives often disconnect the call without providing any solution or proper response.

Due to this negligence, I have suffered inconvenience, mental harassment, loss of time, and disruption in my work/studies. Airtel has failed to provide the promised service despite accepting payment, which amounts to deficiency in service and unfair trade practice under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.


Therefore, I respectfully request the Hon'ble Commission to:
1.Direct Airtel to either install the broadband connection immediately or refund the entire amount of ₹1,500.
2.Award reasonable compensation for the mental harassment, inconvenience, and wastage of time caused due to Airtel's negligence.
3.Direct Airtel to pay the costs incurred in filing this complaint.
4.Pass any other order deemed fit and proper in the interest of justice.

I am enclosing copies of the payment receipt, complaint numbers, call records/screenshots, and any other relevant documents in support of my complaint.

I hope the Hon'ble Commission will take appropriate action and provide justice.
