I am writing this complaint about my gas connection problem with Vadodara Gas Limited. Last year in November 2023, I applied for a new gas connection and paid the full amount. It has been more than one year, but I still haven't got my gas connection.
Let me explain what happened:
First, I went to the head office for help. They sent me to another branch. At that branch, the person in charge was not there as he was on site visit. They asked me to send my application and payment receipt on WhatsApp, which I did right away.
They promised to start the work within a week. When I called after a week, they again asked me to wait for one more week. This kept happening again and again. Now whenever I call them, they just say "workers will come tomorrow," but no one ever comes.
I tried many ways to solve this problem:
- Called their helpline number
- Sent emails to their official email address
- Made several visits to their office
- Called the branch in-charge many times
But nothing worked. Now the branch in-charge has stopped answering my calls completely.
This problem is causing a lot of trouble for my family. We are facing daily problems without a gas connection at home. This is a basic need, and we are struggling because of their poor service. Also, our money has been with them for more than a year without any service.
I request you to please help us with:
1. Getting our gas connection installed quickly
2. Getting an explanation for this long delay
3. Getting compensation for our troubles
4. Taking action against the people responsible for this delay
I have all the proof to support my complaint:
- Application form and receipt
- Payment receipt
- WhatsApp messages
- Call records
