Complaint for Deficiency in Service and Supply of Defective CCTV System
Respected Sir/Madam,
I, Mr. Benson, hereby submit this complaint against Zeon Systems & Security for deficiency in service and supply of defective products, as per the following facts:
1. Purchase Details:
Invoice No: 1524
Date: 13-12-2025
Total Amount Paid: ₹35,005
Products Purchased: CCTV Surveillance System including DVR, cameras, hard disk, wiring, and installation.
2. Facts of the Case:
I purchased and installed a CCTV system from the opposite party at my residence based on their assurance of quality and service.
Within two months of installation, one of the cameras became non-functional, clearly indicating poor product quality.
I immediately contacted the dealer multiple times requesting repair/replacement.
Despite repeated complaints, the opposite party:
Failed to respond properly
Did not attend the complaint
Did not provide any service or solution
This behavior amounts to:
Deficiency in service
Supply of defective goods
Unfair trade practice
3. Grounds for Complaint:
The product failed within a very short period, showing lack of durability and quality.
The dealer has shown complete negligence and irresponsibility.
The complainant has suffered financial loss, mental stress, and inconvenience.
4. Relief Sought:
I respectfully request the Honorable Commission to:
Direct the opposite party to refund the full amount of ₹35,005.
Direct them to remove the installed defective system at their cost.
Award compensation for mental agony and inconvenience (₹25,000 or as deemed appropriate).
Award litigation costs.
Pass any other order deemed fit in the interest of justice.
