I am writing this complain here to bring your attention an issue with my Carrier Flexicool Convertible 4-in-1 Cooling 1.5 Ton 4 Star Split Inverter AC purchased on 26-03-2022 from Flipkart online purchase. During the last visit (around 3 months back) by the Carrier service team, a PCB breakdown was identified in this. When we talked to customer support and checked for the warranty, they confirmed that this model covers 5 years of warranty but the surprising thing revealed by the customer support that you had to register online within 30 days of purchase which was never mentioned anywhere during purchase as well as noone told us even customer support had called me to ask the feedback on installation process. I also confirmed that do they have date mentioned in carrier database for installation of the product. they confirmed, yes, we have the date of installation in our database.
I also tried to follow up with customer support over call and mails couple of time, did not get any satisfactory reply except will get the call back.
As we have very hot weather, we needed the immediate support on servicing of AC.
Additionally, I would like to request your assistance in registering the product to avail the 5-year warranty coverage on PCB. Unfortunately, the registration was missed at the time of purchase, which was on 26-03-2022, and I understand that registration is typically allowed only within 30 days of purchase. Given the circumstances, I kindly request an exception so that I can get benefitted from the extended warranty.
I would greatly appreciate your support in resolving the PCB issue and allowing the warranty registration.
