Subject: Complaint Against Ola Electric Regarding Defective Product and Poor After-Sales Service
Respected Sir/Madam,
I, Nikhil Sharma, a resident of Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan (Pin Code – 335001), would like to lodge a formal complaint against Ola Electric Mobility Pvt. Ltd. regarding severe negligence in the quality and service of their product.
I am the owner of an Ola S1 Pro electric scooter. While riding it on the road, the scooter suddenly stopped functioning. I had to get the vehicle transported to the company's service center through RSA (Roadside Assistance). Upon inspection, I was informed that the belt had broken. I requested a replacement, which took 9 days to arrive.
However, after the belt replacement, I was further informed that the structure arm of the scooter was broken. I again requested the part, but even after 16 days, the part has not arrived and no concrete timeline has been provided.
Shockingly, the same service center is responsible for handling vehicles from three major cities, and currently more than 50 Ola scooters are lying unattended in poor condition. Customers like me are facing serious inconvenience due to delays, lack of updates, and unavailability of critical parts. Moreover, repeated attempts to contact customer care have gone unanswered, adding to the frustration.
This has caused me mental distress, financial loss, and disruption to my daily life. The company's after-sales service is grossly inadequate, and it is neglecting the rights of consumers.
I humbly request the Hon’ble Consumer Court to take appropriate legal action against Ola Electric for selling faulty vehicles, providing delayed and insufficient after-sales support, and causing harassment to consumers.
I am ready to provide all the supporting documents such as purchase invoice, service records, complaint numbers, photographs, and communications with the company, if required.
