Dear Sir/Madam,
I would like to file a complaint regarding a defective air conditioner purchased from Flipkart�.
The air conditioner was delivered on May 6, 2026. On the next day, May 7, 2026, a technician from Jeeves Consumer Services� came for installation. After completing the wall fitting and turning on the AC, only hot air was coming out instead of cooling air.
The technician informed me that the AC appeared to have a defect and possibly had no gas inside it. He told me that he would return in the evening to inspect it further, but he never came back.
From May 7 to May 14, 2026, I have been continuously contacting Flipkart customer care every single day. Each time, they keep giving me a new date and asking me to wait:
On May 7, they said the technician would come on May 8.
On May 8, they said May 9.
On May 9, they said May 11.
On May 12, they said May 13.
Today, on May 14, they are saying May 17.
However, nobody has visited or resolved the issue so far.
The technician had already informed me during installation that the product was defective because there was no gas in the AC. Later, I confirmed with Flipkart customer care that the technician had indeed updated the issue in their system as a defective product.
Even after confirming that the AC is defective, Flipkart is refusing to provide a clear solution. I requested them to take back the defective product and provide a replacement/refund, but they are only asking me to “wait” without giving any proper resolution.
This delay and negligence are causing me severe inconvenience and mental stress as a customer. Even after warning them that I may file a consumer complaint, they are not taking the matter seriously.
Therefore, I request you to kindly register my complaint and take necessary action against Flipkart and the concerned service team for supplying a defective product and failing to provide timely support and resolution.
