This review is not to get the money back but to highlight that consumer experience could be quite bad based on the company policy.
Blinkit instead of trying to take the returns, wastes your time in the facade of helping the consumer set up the device(bluetooth speaker in this case). I am asking for return and executive is helping me set up the device despite acknowledging bad quality under the garb of "it is a standard process". I understand she is just doing the job, it is the company and the seller who is making it worse for her as she needs to follow the frustrating policy set
The same instructions are no where mentioned on the packaging of the device but a executive takes more than 45 min - asks me to send multiple 30 second videos,cannot corelate videos to images, calls me several times and then asks me obvious questions from the video already sent(such what is the volume of the device, how much % is it charged, set up equaliser like i know what a equaliser is), technical settings which she expects as a layman consumer, i should check rather than take the return of the product. She tries to solve this on a call as the consumer cannot have the record of the call but can have the record of the chat. I could have ordered this product for my 70+ year old parent and expect it to switch on and work. If it didnt i want return not a long call and lecture on the setup.
In short issues:-
1. Privacy invasion - Asking for 30 second videos and trying to forceblly get you to open your settings and change it.
2. Trying to setup device instead of clear return, despite seeing the video that there is a defect.
3. Not resolving and giving proper instructions on the chat but asking for calls so that there is no evidence left with the consumer.
4. instruction manuals incomplete in the product and nowhere are these details of setup provided.
5. Videos and pictures are reverified multiple times.
Delivery time - 22 min return time - 12 + hours, frustrating calls and counting.
