I will explain you briefly that what exactly happened with me. My name is Manpreet Singh and i am victim of credit card fraud.
In 2018, i was in NewZealand and someone from my local hdfc branch issued a credit card from my account. They change my phone number and my address as well.
In 2019, hdfc started to send me emails about my dues for credit card which I never got and used. Then i came back to India in 2022 and visit same local hdfc branch and explain the story but unfortunately no one cares as usual.
Now in 2025, i am in India again, visit same branch for lodging a complaint but still they don’t have any answer for me. I got all immigration stamp proof that i was not here in 2018 when credit card issued. Even i don’t know the credit card number that is issued from my account.
My cibil score is bad because of this unpaid dues. I tried to email other hdfc staff but no one reply back.
Local branch (Gill road HDFC)staff sent me to 3 other higher branches in ludhiana and now i fed up.
Kindly help me to sort this issue out. I attached a screen short of address that is shown on issued credit card.
