This is to address you that I purchased an Amul product i.e. Amul diced cheese 200gm on 8 jan 2025 from Zepto but after my purchase I opened the pack after a week and I found that it has fungus in it. I mean it has blue color fungus in it. As I was hospitalised for a month I could not lodge the complaint.
Same thing reported to Amul Customer care as well. According to them their local team were suppose to visit my place according to 9th Mar 2025 communication. But no response i have received yet.
I just want to know if a product is within Expiry Date how does it get fungus in it? Is this way Amul is playing with human hygiene and health? I can't compromise with health issues. Hence I am addressing this issue to the concerned authorities. And I want compensation for harresing me and non addressing the health and hygiene issue carefully.
Same thing I had previously faced with Amul butter 500gm pack but I didn't lodged any complain. As this is the 2nd issue I had to address the matter to the department. If u all want me to take legal steps I am ready for the same with the proof.
Please do the needful as soon as possible.
As i went through an operation incase my kids would have consumed the cheese they could get infected from that. Already 6 months ago i purchased Amul butter of 500gm it also had same fungus problem my children did not noticed and consumed the butter for which my son was hospitalised also. At that time i didn't took any steps. But this is the second time. I am mentally harrsed by the company (Amul) and very much worried about the health and hygiene issue. I am very much scared now about the Amul products are they tampering with the Expiry dates? I want compensation for harresing a sick lady by not addressing the problem which is related with health and hygiene. How they are using their FSSAI lisence with this sort of products?
