I respectfully submit that I purchased an Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) from the Eureka Forbes website on 28 August 2025. Due to an inadvertent error, the AMC was purchased for an incorrect product, which had already been discarded. Upon realizing the mistake, I immediately contacted Eureka4 customer care and lodged a formal complaint.
Subsequently, based on my complaint, the said AMC was officially cancelled on 4 September 2025, as confirmed by Eureka4 customer support. However, despite the cancellation and the lapse of a reasonable and sufficient period, the refund amount has not been credited to my account till date, i.e., 1 February 2026.
The continued non-processing of the refund for over five months amounts to deficiency in service and unfair trade practice under the provisions of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. Repeated follow-ups have failed to resolve the issue, causing unnecessary financial loss and mental harassment.
