Myself Sharath R, Amazon India customer, ordered a safe - “Amazon Basics Digital Safe with Electronic Keypad Locker for Home, Gross Capacity - 39L (Net - 33L), Grey” along with brand installation - “safe installation” which was available with the product for an extra price of 515rs.
I am waiting for the installation from Monday 4th of may as promised. However I didn’t hear back from the Amazon team.
I called Amazon support - spent over 2.5 hours reaching support. 2 calls with the escalation team and below are the concerns,
1- Amazon support informed that the installation will be done by Amazon basic brands and I have to reach them for support
2- the Amazon basics brand emailed me that they are not responsible & I have to reach the Amazon support.
3- 3 phone numbers shared by Amazon support are not existent (including the emergency phone number shared on email for emergency support during installation)
4- I do not have an option to request refund for the installation , the safe I purchased is of no use as it is not installed. There is no option to return this items as well.
After the 3 unsuccessful calls with Customer support, I shared this in feedback & yet I am not able to receive the necessary support from Amazon.
1- installation not done as per the schedule on the email (Monday 10am-6pm)
2- 3 phone numbers shared by Amazon rep are not working / non existing
3- I have spent over 1.5 hours on call with Amazon support without receiving support
4- I am being asked to wait for 72 hours, without sureity of the installation
5- the link on the email to reschedule doesn’t work and the Amazon rep wants me to keep trying the same link
6- unable to return because amazon didn’t install the product on time.
