Amazon not returning tv even after its their own fault

I ordered a VW 80 cm (32 inches) Frameless Series HD Ready LED TV VW32A (Black) on the 5th December from Amazon, which was delivered by amazon on the 6th December. It was supposed to be opened, checked for damage as well as installed by the amazon representative. This happens generally the next day or two after delivery but in this case it kept getting cancelled and re scheduled on its own. Now it says the installation date is 22nd December and the return window of the tv ended on 16th (10 day policy). Completely by amazon, this issue was created , now when i talked to the customer care, they are being rude to us, this guy jaideep (talked to 3 different people as well as their supervisor(jaideep)) just talked rudely and said we cannot return the tv anymore because it is not in the return window as well states that we can go and get the tv installed on our own by someone local. I just wanted to return the tv whose installation is not taking place as well as it has been not verified whether the tv is damaged or in working condition as this was to be checked by the installation agent.
