I requested IPTV through the Airtel Thanks app on 20th July 2025. Following the request, my existing ₹499 broadband plan was converted to an Airtel Black plan—without IPTV activation. I contacted customer care, and they assured me that an engineer would visit my home, collect ₹500, and complete the IPTV installation. I agreed to this. However, no one ever showed up.

For several days, I kept calling customer care, only to receive inconsistent and misleading responses each time. Feeling frustrated, I finally visited the Airtel Store on Baner Road, Pune, on 25th July 2025. I was told that the only way to get IPTV was by unbundling Airtel Black and raising a fresh request. I followed their instructions, upgraded my plan again, and paid ₹500 for the IPTV service.

They promised the IPTV would be installed within a week, but as of 4th August 2025, the installation is still pending—despite multiple follow-ups.

This entire experience has been frustrating and disappointing, and it has seriously eroded my trust in Airtel's service quality. I sincerely hope the senior leadership reviews this complaint and ensures that proper action is taken and justice is done.

This isn’t an isolated incident. I also recently ported my mobile number (9860878900) from Airtel to Jio after experiencing persistent network issues for over three years, which remained unresolved despite repeated complaints.

I truly hope that this situation does not repeat itself with IPTV. Still hoping for the best—please don’t let another long-time customer down.

I have contacted Airtel multiple times and even visited their store, but have not received any satisfactory response. Each time, they provide a new ETA. Since Airtel is not offering a solution, I have raised a complaint here.
