I ordered a AcerPure Nitro 43 inch 120hz 4k QLED TV from Flipkart on 23 Sep 2025, Order ID : OD435550499264703100
The product got delivered to me on 29 Sep 2025. Installation was supposed to happen on 30 Sep 2025 but the installation guy didn't pick my call and marked my installation failed and mentioned that I didn't replied to his call, I complaint about this on flipkart and consumer forum cause they were saying same thing again and again that I didn't pick installation guy's call and made a reschedule for installation myself for 11 Oct 2025. After some back and forth communication, they get it installed on 4 Oct 2025.
During installation I asked the technician why there are some lines / boxes showing when I play something on dark. He said its normal and if I want I can ask flipkart for it and they'll replace it with a fresh product.
When I contacted flipkart they told me that I have to contact AcerPure for this as there is 7 days Sellers replacement for this product, which started from 29th Sep while my TV got installed on 4th.
When I contacted AcerPure they raised a complaint for replacement.
When I checked TV further, I found that the Specifications aren't what I ordered.
The 4k resolution is supposed to be 3840 x 2160 pixels while The one I have got 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD)
I checked for Refresh rate and it should be 120 hz but I checked it and its 60 hz, tried various settings but didn't find anything.
When I checked model number / serial number inside the TV settings , its totally different from what is on the BOX / Bill.
The surprising thing is that there's a sticker on back of TV which have the same serial number that is on the box / bill but is different from the settings in TV.
I contacted both AcerPure and Flipkart for this and they told me to contact other party several times.
At last a guy from Flipkart said that if Acer refuse to replace it, I need to ask them for DUI / Denial letter and job sheet and then they'll replace it.
I contacted AcerPure again and they said that one of technician will Visit and check.
on 7th October 2025 the technician came and he saw the issue, he called his upper team member and told him that TV serial number, model and specification is different from bill / box. The senior on call said that just take photo of sticker from back of TV and come back, as if he knew that the serial on back of TV is right .
. When the technician told him that he came here for checking for issue in TV then he asked him to take photo / video and photo of bill and come back.
I showed technician the problem with screen lines as well and he said that don't worry you'll get it replaced by either flipkart of acerpure.
I have all call recordings from them.
When he left I received a call from someone from acer and they asked what is issue I'm facing.
When I told him that serial number and specs are different, he casually said its no issue that's happening with everyone.
When I asked him to check the images and specifications are different as well then he said I have attacked all images in job sheet, When I told him to give me a DUI / Denial letter and mention that serial number / specs are different from what I ordered than he said no they are not and then he declined the call saying wait for jobsheet.
I got an email from acerpure they said that I'm not checking it correctly and give me some points to check for.
I checked and replied them back and all they are saying is wait for concern team to reply and same thing again and again.
they even closed my issue for defective screen mentioning that the technician said that there's no issue in screen.
That ticket was opened in 7 days replacement period and when I sent them a video of TV again showing defect, they said wait for team to call you back.
Got no reply since then.
I'm attaching all email chats + images of defects and serial number / model / specs on box and what's showing in TV.
What should I do now
It's very frustrating, I bought this TV for entertainment after doing hectic freelance work and to relax for some time . All I'm getting is more frustration and now my family is saying what have you bought, wasted money on this and all.
