I bought a 235L Double door fridge from Reliance Digital, Noida; last month only. It stopped cooling one day, I contacted the ResQ service centre, a technician was sent to check the issue. He told me that 2 parts are damaged and that he is ordering them which should be delivered in 7-10 working days. This was on 2nd August 2025. And today is 25th August 2025, I still have no update. I have contacted the customer care many times but they always say the same thing that wait for few days, your order is on priority. I just bought the fridge last month and it is just a useless box now.
 

Legal Remedies​

  1. Consumer Court Case
    • File before the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (Noida).
    • Claim:
      • Refund of ₹23,000 OR new replacement fridge.
      • Compensation for mental harassment.
      • Litigation costs.
  2. Send Legal Notice
    • Through a lawyer, send a notice to Reliance Digital & Reliance ResQ. Demand replacement/refund within 7 days, failing which you’ll file a consumer case.
  3. Escalate to National Consumer Helpline (NCH)
    • Call 1800-11-4000 or WhatsApp +91-8800001915.
    • Register your complaint with invoice & service request details.
 
Legal Remedies
The first step is to send a legal notice, but as the shubham already emailed the company, legal notice is not required.

Our previous experience with NCH was not good, we don't suggest our members to go to NCH.
