To Whom It May Concern,

I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against O General (Fujitsu General) Air Conditioning India Pvt. Ltd. regarding the defective unit sold to me and the repeated failure of your after-sales service team to resolve the issue.

Purchase & Installation:

  • Product: O General 1.5 Ton Split Air Conditioner
  • Purchase Date: 07-Jul-2024
  • Installation Date: 08-Jul-2024
Despite O General’s reputation and claims of offering premium products and reliable service, my personal experience has been distressing and deeply disappointing.

Issue Summary:

  • Since the first service, recurring technical faults began to appear.
  • I have made several calls to your customer care team without meaningful resolution.
  • Complaints were either misdiagnosed or inadequately addressed.
Complaint Timeline:

  • 10-May-2025: Complaint (JAI110052500005) for excessive noise. Rotor fan replaced.
  • 25-Jun-2025: Issue recurred. New complaint (JAI125062500060) logged. Technician recommended replacement of multiple parts (Blower Motor, Fan, Mounting Bracket).
  • 09-Jul-2025: Previous complaint closed arbitrarily. New complaint created (JAI109072500058), possibly to mask service delays.
Meanwhile, I was compelled to purchase an extended warranty worth ₹6,990, despite unresolved issues, simply because the original warranty was nearing expiration.

Grievances:

  • Persistent malfunctioning despite repeated service visits.
  • Lack of transparency in complaint handling.
  • Extended periods of discomfort, inconvenience, and undue stress.
  • Financial burden and harassment due to recurring breakdowns and poor support.
Reliefs Sought:

  1. Immediate replacement of the defective unit with a new one of equivalent or better specification.
  2. Compensation for mental harassment, financial loss, and lack of service.
  3. Reimbursement for extended warranty and repair costs.
  4. Any additional relief that this Hon’ble Forum deems fit under consumer protection laws.
I urge you to treat this complaint with utmost seriousness and provide a resolution at the earliest to prevent further escalation.
