Dear Sir,
My name is Rakesh Kumar, and I am a resident of Naya Gaon, Delhi Road, Moradabad. I am writing to request your kind intervention in resolving an issue regarding an incorrect electricity bill issued in my name.
The electricity department has generated a bill amounting to ₹65,324, which appears to have been raised due to a misunderstanding related to the electricity meter. After receiving this bill, I visited my nearest power station and explained the entire situation in detail. However, my request was denied, and I was informed that since the bill has already been generated, no correction can be made. I was further advised that I must pay the full amount before my electricity supply can be restored.
I have made every possible effort to resolve this matter through the appropriate channels, but unfortunately, I have not received any satisfactory response. Therefore, I am now compelled to approach the consumer court with the hope of obtaining justice.
I humbly request you to kindly review my case and take the necessary action at the earliest to rectify this issue.
