Sir/Madam,
I, Mr. R N Lokesh, am filing this formal complaint against Unity Sunrise Resort, and specifically the Reservation Manager, Mr. Bhoor Singh, for what can only be described as a deliberate and malicious attempt to financially exploit guests. Despite having a confirmed reservation with clearly defined tariffs and a pre-paid meal plan, Mr. Bhoor Singh engaged in unauthorized charges, predatory billing, and exhibited a level of professional hostility that is entirely unacceptable. This document serves as a final demand for the immediate refund of all wrongfully collected funds and a formal record of the gross deficiency of service provided under Mr. Singh’s management.
2. Booking and Financial Timeline
Under the direction of Mr. Bhoor Singh, the resort wrongfully collected funds exceeding the agreed-upon rates:
The stay was further ruined by the unprofessional and aggressive behavior of Mr. Bhoor Singh:
I am seeking a full investigation into these unfair trade practices. I demand an immediate refund of the overcharged amounts (the excess room fees and the ₹1,000 illegal dinner charge). Furthermore, I seek formal compensation for the mental agony and harassment caused by Mr. Bhoor Singh’s conduct. Failure to resolve this will result in this matter being reported to the Gujarat Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission and the National Consumer Helpline.
With Regards
Lokesh

2. Booking and Financial Timeline
- Customer Name: Mr. R N Lokesh
- Booking ID: FDR73421761456574
- Resort Name: Unity Sunrise Resort
- Resort Address: Near Statue of Unity Railway Crossing, Ekta Nagar (Kevadia), Gujarat, 393151
- Primary Point of Contact: Mr. Bhoor Singh
- Original Booking: 6 Premium AC Rooms for 26-Dec-2025 to 27-Dec-2025
- Additional Accommodation: 1 extra room was utilized for an 8-hour duration as a backup on 27-Dec-2025, which was pre-discussed to be charged at the previous booking rate.
- 26-Oct-2025: A payment of ₹15,000 was made to Bhoor Singh as an initial booking deposit.
- 26-Dec-2025: A payment of ₹47,000 was made to Bhoor Singh for the settlement of room charges.
- 26-Dec-2025: A payment of ₹800 was made to Bhoor Singh for the settlement of room charges.
- 27-Dec-2025: A final payment of ₹5,000 was made to Than Singh, which included charges for dinner and miscellaneous items.
- Total Amount Paid: ₹67,800.
Under the direction of Mr. Bhoor Singh, the resort wrongfully collected funds exceeding the agreed-upon rates:
- Room Charge Discrepancy: The agreed rate for the original booking was ₹8,800 per room (₹52,800 for 6 rooms). For a total of 7 rooms, the resort collected ₹62,800.
- Unfair Duration Charge (₹10,000): For the one additional room used as a backup for only 8 hours, Mr. Bhoor Singh adamantly and unfairly charged a premium rate of ₹10,000. This exceeds even the 24-hour rate of the other rooms (₹8,800) and shows a complete lack of standard hospitality practices for short-duration stays. Charging ₹10,000 for an 8-hour stay is an act of blatant financial exploitation.
- Excess Room Collection: By collecting ₹15,000, ₹47,000, and ₹800, the resort took ₹62,800 for room charges alone. This resulted in a direct overcharge of ₹1,200 when compared to the 7-room total at the standard rate.
- Illegal Dinner Charges: The official Booking Summary explicitly includes "Breakfast, Dinner" in the meal plan for all rooms. Despite this, Mr. Bhoor Singh forcefully charged an extra ₹1,000 for dinner for 4 people within the final ₹5,000 transaction.
The stay was further ruined by the unprofessional and aggressive behavior of Mr. Bhoor Singh:
- Hostile Behavior by Mr. Bhoor Singh: Mr. Singh was the main culprit behind the poor experience. He spoke in a very rude and adamant manner and appeared visibly annoyed by basic guest requests. His lack of cooperation and unprofessional attitude entirely ruined the group holiday.
- Breach of Amenities: There were significant delays in providing the promised DJ and sound system amenities.
- Inflexible Management: A reasonable request for a 10-minute extension for the sound system (up to 10:30 PM) was aggressively denied by the management, further demonstrating their lack of guest-centric service.
