Kindly check below my complaint details registered to service head of Whirlpool pvt ltd to understand the issue from my side
Email dated 7th June 2025). They refused to replace under warranty motor.

Hello Sir/Madam,
This is to bring to your notice that I registered complaint on 31st May 2025(SR no 31052536714) by citing problem on washing machine drum not rotating properly. Technician had been assigned and inspected on 2nd June 2025 and found out there is motor failure and been advised to replace motor. Since motor under warranty, I showed him my purchase bill and he replaced motor and run the machine. During machine running, further technician said there is a problem in pcm board and has to be changed entire board cost around Rs 3900, which is not under warranty.
I asked the technician to replace only motor which is under warranty and I said I will take care the repair of pcm board separately. But service centre strongly denied my request and saying that we can replace motor only when I will have to accept to change the entire pcm board which I said this is illogical and there is no norms like this. In fact there is a problem in 2 parts, one under warranty and another out of warranty, I asked service centre to change the motor alone, but they refused adamantly and they had taken back replaced new motor which is not at all a professional approach.
So, I contacted customer care of whirlpool and explained the issue in detail and I got a reply that your SR is closed, I was surprised to know that this service request (31052536714) closed without my knowledge. Again I was asked to raise another SR, I raised another SR(MAD04062547315). Again service centre called me on this SR, I explained again what happened on previous SR. Same old reply I got from service centre of forcing me to buy pcm board to replace motor. I insisted that to replace motor which is under warranty and asked why should I buy entire board? But their reply is un-professional and again they repeated and forcing me to buy pcm board to replace motor.
So, again I called customer care on SR which is mentioned above and explained the problem in detail again. Got a reply from customer care that what I said is correct but I will have to handle this issue on my own with service centre, nothing to do with customer care, which disappointed me as service centre refused my request of replacing the motor time and again, what's the the deal in again talk to service centre, infact, in this matter, customer care supposed to coordinate and resolve this issue which was not happening in this case.
With full of frustration to resolve this issue, again myself called service centre and explained the issue in detail patiently and at some point service centre guy agreed to replace the motor alone provided he asked me to sign consent letter saying that I will take the responsibility in case if anything happens to machine after changing the pcm board out of service centre which I immediately accepted and ready to sign the consent letter. Next, I had been told that technician will visit your place and do the needful. Two days gone by, neither technician visited nor take call. I suspect that there is no technician allocated so far on this SR.
I request that kindly look into this issue ASAP and do the needful on replacing said part which is under warranty. Attached my purchase bill for your reference. Awaiting your acknowledgement.
