Subject: Urgent Intervention Required for Unauthorized Loan Processing and Refund Denial by SkillAcademy and ShopSe

To Whom It May Concern,

I am writing to formally file a complaint against SkillAcademy by Testbook and their finance partner, ShopSe, regarding an unauthorized loan processing and refusal to issue a promised refund for services not rendered.

Details of the Incident:

On 26th October 2024 at 2:05 pm, I initiated a transaction with SkillAcademy (Transaction ID: S26102408255643186). During my initial interaction with SkillAcademy’s counselor, I was informed that the OTP verification was simply for “bank approval.” However, this verification process directly led to a loan application being submitted to ShopSe without my explicit consent or understanding.

Realizing the nature of the transaction, I immediately contacted SkillAcademy and requested a cancellation of the loan and a full refund. As I have neither enrolled in any course nor accessed any services, I am fully within my rights to ask for a complete refund.

I initially received assurances from SkillAcademy’s representative, Suraj, on 2nd November 2024 that the loan would be canceled, and a refund would be initiated. However, after this promise, Suraj has become unresponsive and even appears to have blocked my contact, preventing any further resolution efforts.

Actions Requested:
  1. Immediate cancellation of the unauthorized loan application made on my behalf.
  2. Full refund of the transaction amount in alignment with SkillAcademy’s stated refund policy.
I am deeply concerned by SkillAcademy’s misleading information practices and lack of transparency, as well as the unprofessional conduct demonstrated by their representative. This has caused both financial stress and emotional distress, and I urge Consumer Court to take immediate action to ensure accountability.

I have check all the details you mentioned, and I suggest you that, If the Skillacademy is not responding even after many followups, you need to file a case in Consumer Forum.
