We booked an interior design project with Truww Interiors and paid a
total amount of ₹66,715. The initial token amount of ₹10,000 was paid
on 15th June 2025, and the remaining ₹56,715 was paid on 16th June
2025 (10% of the total project value). Despite multiple follow-ups, the
project is still stuck in the design and planning phase, with no execution
or on-site work started till date. The design phase was unreasonably
delayed, and communication from their end has been extremely poor.
Now, when we are requesting a refund due to non-performance, they
are refusing to refund the amount, citing the "efforts" put in during the
design phase. However, no tangible work has been delivered or
executed at our site. We have sent a formal email requesting a refund,
but we have received no response from their support team or
management. This is causing us mental stress and financial loss.
 
I have filed complaint on NCH and I got below reply. They have not provided us any design we just got photos of their old work. Now I want to file consumer case. Can you please guide me with those documents which need to upload on ejagriti portal.

Our policy clearly states that post a certain
timeline there are no refunds especially in
this case since so much work has been done,
full designs were prepared and shared with
client also. Client decided to go ahead with
local carpenter, using our designs without
paying for it. We have allocated resources to
this project and our designer has spent a lot
of time making the designs and taking
meetings with the client. It is also mentioned
in our quotation that design phase is a
collaborative phase as we cannot do anything
without the client being involved so it does
take time and it also depends on client
schedules and they are not always available
and we also have internal processes after
client confirms their requirements so it will
take time and we cannot alone guarantee
that since client will keep making changes.
Maybe no tangible work was done but the
client did use our services! The designer and
sales team has spent hours in meetings and
discussions with the clients and then spent
more time creating the designs for the
clients. We cannot discredit this work just
because the client later decided to go for a
local carpenter.
