Dear Sir/Madam,

I would like to file a complaint against a retail store (Vishal Mega Mart, Sector 14, Gurgaon) for engaging in misleading advertising and unfair trade practices.

On 14th Oct 2025, I made a purchase worth ₹53,970 from their store. At the billing counter, a display board (photo attached) clearly mentioned “Free Gifts” as part of Diwali Special Offers, stating:

3 Pcs Utensils Set worth ₹3,999 on shopping of ₹15,000

Memory Foam Pillow worth ₹1,999 on shopping of ₹10,000

However, despite my purchase exceeding ₹15,000, the store staff refused to provide any of the mentioned gifts, stating it was not applicable, without any valid reason. This is misleading and violates my consumer rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
 
Please treat this as a formal complaint. I am attaching a photo of the offer board and my purchase bill for your reference.

Before proceeding further, we recommend that you first send an email to the customer care department of the Vishal Mega Mart (grievanceofficer@vishalmegamart.com), clearly outlining your concerns and requesting to provide the gift as per they mentioned on the store.

This step not only gives the company a chance to address the issue but also helps strengthen your case if you decide to file a complaint with the Consumer Forum later.
