I am writing to formally escalate a complaint regarding the substandard quality and misleading representation of a product I purchased from your store for Valentine’s Day.
The product was advertised as a unique surprise with flying butterflies and customized photo prints.
However, the reality was far from the promised experience.
Issues with the Product & Service:
The flying butterflies did not function as expected—they failed to fly upon opening, rendering the entire concept pointless.
The photos were merely low-quality stickers rather than the printed photographs as advertised.
The total quality of the product does not even justify a price of ₹1000, yet I was charged ₹2500.
I paid an additional charge for gift wrapping, which turned out to be a flimsy, cheap-quality paper, and the package was received in a torn condition.
This is a clear case of misrepresentation, fraudulent pricing, and failure to deliver the promised product and service. The deception in the product listing, combined with the poor execution and overpricing, constitutes unfair trade practices under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
I demand the following actions immediately:
A full refund of ₹2500, including the additional gift-wrapping charges.
An apology and assurance that such misleading advertisements will be corrected.
A detailed response within 48 hours, failing which I will escalate this matter to the Consumer Court (National Consumer Helpline - NCH) and Cyber Crime authorities for legal action.
Please treat this as urgent and provide a resolution at the earliest. Failure to address this appropriately will compel me to take strict legal measures, including reporting this case under the Consumer Protection Act and IT Act for online fraud and misleading e-commerce practices.
I expect a prompt response with a clear resolution.
Sincerely
