Dear Sir,
I had trip planned for Spiti Valley Himachal Pradesh from 10th of May to 17th May. The trip involved 2 return flights from Mumbai Delhi departure on 10th May and return on 17th May from Delhi. From Delhi to Spiti travel was via Cab Services.
Due to war situation from 8th May we were skeptical about plans. Indian government had warned to avoid travel if not essential in these critical areas.
We had to cancel our trip starting on 10th and requested all hotels for cancellation and refund of hotels. Out of 7 properties 5 properties helped with 100% refund.
The Hosteller Shimla denied our request. We tried to convince them as it was cancelled due to war situation and not personal reasons. Still they did not cooperate and charged all 4440.24 Rs charges for 16th May check in and 17th May chek out
Its shame when we say we are proud citizen and Indian Hoteliers are making money in such situation.
