On behalf of my Super Senior Citizen Father, Mr Vijay Pherwani, for TCL TV installed in his bedroom for himself and his wife.
Summary:
1: Issue was raised to Reliance Digital on 5th Aug via ReqQ service app. Had to raise this 5 times as they kept scheduling visit and cancelling. Later on, when I personally visited, I was informed they cancel as this is OEM warranty, not their extended warranty.
2: Eventually, TCL person came visited and said job will be done in 3-4 days. No answer from TCL/Reliance teams for weeks. When we visited few times, they said earlier technician service company shut down. They arranged a second visit.
3: After this also, replacement of motherboard took 3-4 more weeks. It happened in Sep 2025.
4: In 5-7 days again TV stopped working.
5: Technician from TCL came and promised replacement/repair in 3-4 days. We have followed up and visited in person to Reliance. TCL keeps promising some date and does not commit to it. So far, 2-3 weeks have passed and no response.
6: Abdul (TCL) (959 491 5207) only messages "Do not worry" "I am there", but nothing happens. Now he has stopped answering calls or replying to WhatsApp.
7: Invoice is attached. We have 3 years OEM (TCL) warranty which they are not honouring. We have also paid Reliance for additiional 2 years warranty.
8: As super senior citizens, we do not go out. Mother is 83 years and has advanced Alzheimers. Father is 84. This is only entertainment they have, and this is down for months and months.
9: They are undergoing hardship and pain, and worried about being cheated by TCL.
10: We expect full compensation of the entire amoungt paid to Reliance Digital (from TCL and extended warranty from Reliance), plus compensation for harassment and mental torture and pain in the last part of our lives.
11: As Ajay Pherwani, son of Super Senior Citizens, is sending email and chasing on behalf of his parents.

- I am a Super Senior Citizen residing in Mumbai,
- I purchased a TCL 55-inch TV from Reliance Digital in Jan-2025 as per attached file with details as under:

- Manufacturer Warranty: 11-Jan-2025 to 10-Jan-2027
- resQ care extended warranty: 11-Jan-2027 to 10-Apr-2030
- Within 4 months, in June-25, the TV went on blink and would not start.
- After several telephonic complaints and visit to Reliance Digital Office at Prabha Devi, someone finally came in August-25
- After being told that the Panel Display would be replaced in 3,4 days. Nothing happened.
- After multiple follow ups with TCL they arranged for a second visit and then also we were given false commitments for repair.
- After several follow-ups by visits and phone, TV was repaired in Sep-25
- Within a week, the same problem recurred.
- Despite several visits, a technician visited on 07-Oct-25 and diagnosed a motherboard failure.
- We were told a replacement would be done in 2,3 days. Nothing happened.
- Again after personal visits and phone calls, we were told on19-Oct-25 that replacement would be done in 1or 2 days.
- Four days have passed and nothing has happened.
- Due to my age (I am 84 years old) I am unable to visit the Service Centre or pursue legal action.
- Mr Altaf from TCL (+91 93265 31490) has been contacted multiple times by Reliance Digital people and also by my son. He keeps giving false promises and never replies promptly. Now he has started ignoring all messages.
- I sincerely request your kind assistance in resolving the matter-either by facilitating the repair or replacement of the TV under the warranty or by guiding me on the next steps.
- We have specified multiple times that we are super senior citizens and have no other source of entertainment. My wife is having advanced Alzheimer’s disease and this is her only way of passing time.
