I am writing to lodge a formal consumer grievance against Myntra Designs Pvt. Ltd., in relation to unfulfilled and undelivered paid orders, amounting to deliberate negligence, deficiency in service, and unjust enrichment under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

Date of Order Placement: 3rd July 2025

Promised Delivery Date: 8th July 2025

Total Number of Items: 3 (all prepaid)

As of the date of this email, more than 15 days have passed beyond the promised delivery timeline, and none of the products have been delivered.

Despite multiple calls to Myntra’s customer support since 12th July 2025, I have received no concrete updates or resolutions from their customer service executives, escalation desk, or manager desk. In fact, the manager explicitly mentioned that “nothing is in their hands,” reflecting an alarming absence of ownership or redressal mechanism.

Legal Grounds for Complaint:

▸Deficiency in Service under Section 2(11) of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019

▸Unfair Trade Practice under Section 2(47), by collecting payment without fulfilling the service

▸Mental harassment and wastage of consumer time

▸Unlawful holding of funds, amounting to unjust enrichment without service delivery

This is not only a clear violation of consumer rights, but also a blatant misuse of a prepaid transaction, where Myntra has held my money without fulfilling its contractual obligation.

Relief Sought:

▸A written explanation for the delay and lack of communication

▸Compensation for mental agony, time wasted, and financial blockage caused due to Myntra’s negligence

▸Penalty for repeated violation, if found applicable under the relevant provisions

I request your intervention in this matter to ensure the enforcement of fair trade practices and protect consumer rights from being blatantly disregarded by large e-commerce platforms.
