I, Magudeshwaran A, would like to file this complaint under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, against Blinkit (Grofers India Pvt. Ltd.) for unfair trade practices, deficiency in service, and sale of a defective product.

1. Details of the Purchase
Platform: Blinkit App

Product Name: Boat Enigma Ascend Men’s Luxury HD Smart Watch (4.47 cm, Active Black)

Product Price: ₹2,403

Nature of Product: Smart Watch

Condition on Delivery: Defective / Not working

2. Description of the Issue
I purchased the above-mentioned smart watch through the Blinkit mobile application. Upon delivery and opening the package, I found that the product was not functioning at all. The watch did not turn on or operate as expected, indicating that it was defective at the time of delivery.

3. Attempt to Return the Product
I immediately attempted to initiate a return/refund through the Blinkit app. However:

The return option was not working

There was no customer support option such as call or live chat available on the app

This made it extremely difficult to raise my concern in a timely manner

4. Communication with Blinkit Support
As there was no proper support mechanism, I contacted Blinkit via email. In response:

Blinkit asked me to provide videos of the defective product

I promptly provided all required videos and proof

Despite complying with all their requests, Blinkit later replied stating that they cannot proceed further, without giving any valid reason or solution

This response is highly irresponsible and shows complete disregard for consumer rights.

5. Deficiency in Service & Unfair Trade Practice
Blinkit has failed in the following ways:

Delivered a defective product

Denied return/refund despite valid proof

Provided no proper customer support channel

Refused resolution even after fulfilling all requested conditions

This clearly amounts to deficiency in service, unfair trade practice, and mental harassment to the consumer.
