I bought two Samsung Galaxy SM-A166U 5G on November 2025 and since the very first weeks both units started to show poor performance. I decided to wait and see if the performance would improve with the updates, but it was just a disappointment. The problems and poor execution of this model are a nightmare. This product is a clear example of how consumers are being ripped off. The two units I purchased have the following defects or anomalies; slow performance (lag/stuttering), stutters with multitasking, freezing when entering calls and/or drops when answering, notification problems, and connectivity hiccups, crashes and unresponsive interfaces.
These cell phones have only been used for a few weeks; they are units that have been protected to the extreme since the economic investment is significant, and even so, the money paid does not satisfy the investment. I paid in full through T-Mobile for both units, yet they refuse to honor the money spent and simply suggest we file a claim with Samsung.
