I, along with my family (two kids) and my office colleagues, nine members went to Dasara Restaurant, Nagole Main Road Uppal to celebrate my marriage anniversary.
We have three vegetarians among our group following religious beliefs. We ordered one paneer starter (Bandi Style Miryala Paneer) and main course Kaju Paneer Biryani for them. They had veg starter. After that while eating Kaju Paneer Biryani, we found that they served Chicken 65 Biryani instead of the one we ordered. We had not ordered any non-vegetarian rice item from our table. This hurt our religious sentiments causing severe trauma, mental distress, anxiety and agony. The food looked deceivingly like Paneer.
We escalated the issue with the restaurant management. They admitted their mistake. They said sorry for the mistake and didn’t offer fair explanation. We were devastated. When we said that we don’t want to pay the bill, they told to pay bill and go to court for anything. They ruined our celebrations. We left without eating anything after we found the issue.
I filed grievance in NCH portal, Grievance number: 6954893 using computer and uploading all the relevant documents regarding the issue. NCH agent sent Grievance to the restaurant on 2025-04-04 14:07:34, sent first reminder on 2025-04-11 16:34:10, sent second reminder on 2025-04-15 17:05:09. But there is no response from the restaurant.
