Respected Sir/Madam,
I, Aditya pal, residing at 631/30 Adarsh nagar kamta chinhat Lucknow, I am writing to formally file a complaint against [The drowing street], located at [Sumit building, Second floor vibhuti khand Lucknow], regarding a recent incident on [19-12-24].
I had visited the restaurant with a group of [13] individuals who follow a vegetarian diet. We clearly communicated our dietary restrictions to the restaurant staff during the reservation and ordering process. However, despite this, the restaurant served a non-vegetarian dish to our table, which was against our dietary preferences and caused significant discomfort.
The restaurant’s failure to adhere to our clearly stated dietary needs has led to a violation of consumer rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, which mandates that service providers ensure that products and services meet the requirements and expectations of the consumer. As a result, we were subjected to unnecessary distress and inconvenience.
Despite raising the issue with the restaurant management, no appropriate action or resolution was provided. I believe this negligent behavior on part of the restaurant constitutes unfair trade practice under Section 2(1)(r) of the Consumer Protection Act.
Therefore, I seek the following relief:
I am attaching copies of the bill, reservation details, and any relevant communications that support my case. I respectfully request the court to look into this matter and provide a fair resolution as per the laws governing consumer protection.
